Personal research into designers
Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton Malletier, commonly known as Louis Vuitton, is a French luxury fashion house and company founded in 1854 by Louis Vuitton The label's L monogram appears on most of its products, ranging from luxury bags and leather goods to ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, jewellery, accessories, sunglasses and books.
I like Louis Vuitton's white garments as they all have their own unique twists such as the oversized trench coat and oversized trousers or the crossbody bag straps and the see-through top cropped with high waisted oversized trousers.
Yeezy
Adidas Yeezy is a fashion collaboration between German sportswear company Adidas and American designer, rapper, entrepreneur and personality Kanye West. The collaboration has become notable for its high-end limited edition colorways and general releases offered by the Yeezy Boost sneakers lineup.
I like Yeezy's garment designs for the runway as they show garments with big and oversized/ exaggerated pieces such as massive coats with long sleeves and cropped bodies. This shows how white can be used on pieces and a different style of garment than seen before in my research.
Balenciaga
Balenciaga SAS is a luxury fashion house founded in 1919 by the Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in San Sebastian, Spain and later acquired by French luxury group Kering. Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was called "the master of us all" by Christian Dior.
I like balenciaga's garment designs as they capture the white fabric and make that more interesting. This is seen in all these photos with the techniques such as pleats, folds, gathering and the use of components like beads, pearls and sequins.
