Before and After of Adobe Photoshop Touching up of images

In lesson I used photoshop to touch up this image of Will Smith. First I cropped the image to focus the photo onto his face more directly. Then I used the select tool and changed his eye colours and lips by creating a mask and adding colour to make them pop more, also this allowed me to change his eye colour from a dark brown to blue. I also used the beauty tool to remove the wrinkles from his forehead and around his eyes to make it appear as if he were younger without the wrinkles.

Once I did this I played with the exposure, saturation, shadows and hue. This allowed me to make the image warmer and make the reds more prominent. It also allowed me to make the background darker therefore making the foreground more of the focal point.

Finally, I also played with the liquify tool which allowed me to distort the image of Will Smith’s face and move each of the facial features. In the image you can see I changed the eye sizes and repositioned the mouth. I also moved the ears and made the chin elongated.
