Shibori is the Japanese art of binding and folding fabric in different patterns before dyeing. It is the perfect technique to use when naturally dyeing with indigo because all of the folded areas remain bright white.
I like my attempts at Indigo Shibori dyeing as the patterns created left the white intact from my folds and tying of the fabrics. One thing I would improve would be the stitch one as the stitches should’ve been closer and pulled tighter before the dyeing process to give a better outcome and more visible design of shapes.
