JPEG –
JPEG stands for “Joint Photographic Experts Group”. It's a standard image format for containing lossy and compressed image data. The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable tradeoff between storage size and image quality.
TIFF –
Tag Image File Format, abbreviated TIFF or TIF, is an image file format for storing raster graphics images, popular among graphic artists, the publishing industry,[1] and photographers. TIFF is widely supported by scanning, faxing, word processing, optical character recognition, image manipulation, desktop publishing, and page-layout applications.
Raw File –
A file that contains data that have not been compressed, encrypted or processed in any manner. A RAW file is often a native digital camera file (see RAW image format) but can refer to any type of data.
OBJ 3D Document –
An OBJ file (. obj) contains information about the geometry of 3D objects. The files are used for exchanging information, CAD, and 3D printing. OBJ files can support unlimited colours, and one file can define multiple objects
STL 3D Document –
STL is a file format native to the stereolithography CAD software created by 3D Systems. STL has several backronyms such as "Standard Triangle Language" and "Standard Tessellation Language". This is a format that describes surface geometry of a 3D object without any colour, texture or other attributes.
Bit depth –
Bit depth refers to the colour information stored in an image. Bit means it's amount of tonal variation in the image. Understanding the tonal values within an image can help you obtain the best print possible. There are 3 type of bit depth on photoshop.
